Journeyman Geospatial Analyst (3+ yrs experience), McLean VA
Clearance Level - TS/SCI (must possess or be able to obtain)
Seeking a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) analyst who is interested in joining a team of professionals providing direct intelligence support to the Global War on Terror. The successful candidate will be a part of an Aerial Reconnaissance Surveillance Team based out of Fort Gordon, GA. Successful candidates must be able to work a rotating shift schedule, to include holidays and weekends, which can be changed at any time by the customer. GEOINT Analysts are expected to exploit Imagery and FMV collected by sensors on ISR platforms, applying related intelligence information to the overall analysis as well as using an electronic light table to exploit NTM imagery in softcopy. Imagery-derived products and reports are created by the GEOINT team and published for distribution. Candidates will also need to compile intelligence materials for use in briefings to high-level government personnel.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
At least three (3) years of experience in tactical intelligence analysis
A minimum of six (6) years of experience with GEOINT Exploitation and reporting
Experience and proficiency using at least three of the following systems or software:
MAAS, DCGS-A, PIDGIN, SOCET GXP, ArcGIS, GETS, FalconView, AIMES, TIGR, NGDS, OMAR, TLV, UNICORN, and/or CENTAUR
Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google Earth
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelors in GIS, Geography, or related major.
Experience with Python scripting and geospatial modeling.
