Senior Data Scientist (10+ yrs experience)

Job Description:
This position requires a Data Scientist CFTE at the senior skill level. The candidate will develop and apply methods to identify, collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data to build and enhance product, processes and systems. In addition to the requirements listed in the base SOW, CFTE support includes, but is not limited.

Required Skills:

• Experience producing solutions reliant on a deep understanding of statistics and the ability to demonstrate findings through unique visualization of large data sets.

• Experience with Python, R, and Tableau when accessing and analyzing large data sources for spatial significances.

• Experience data scrapping and harvesting to quickly compile information and establish routine processes.

• Ability to present complex information in appealing ways for non-technical customers.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to blend and integrate emerging technology with the range of necessary analytical tradecraft to quickly answer mission challenges, rapidly pivot across topics and deliver comprehensive results without the need to reach outside the team.

• Experience working with non-traditional geospatial data sources, such as OSINT/unclassified information and volunteered geospatial information.
