Geospatial Analyst/Data Steward (3-10 yrs experience)

Clearance Level - TS/SCI 

Required Skills:

  • Ability to assist in developing and implementing NGA metadata standards for mission specific datasets created during production.

  • Functional working knowledge of ArcGIS 10.x and above, as well as all ArcGIS extensions.

  • Working knowledge of standard GEOINT remote sensing software suites used by NGA to accomplish its mission, including but not limited to ERDAS IMAGINE, RemoteView, ENVI, FalconView, SocetGXP, and LocateXT.

  • Knowledge of geospatial cloud services such as ArcGIS online and its instantiation in C2S/IC GIS portal for online interactive geospatial solutions.

  • Knowledge of structured data techniques and initiatives including but not limited to SOM, GOWK and Stare.

  • Proficiency in geospatial modeling and scripting use.

  • Knowledge of tools such as Palantir, DataExplorer and other data exploitation software.

  • Knowledge of intelink databases, including but not limited to MIDB and Cedalion.

  • Knowledge of standar and non-standard NGA reports including but not limited to Cedalion remarks, NIBs, and GEOINT Notes (GNs).

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, photogrammetry to include stereo extraction from Commercial, NTM, MC&G, and DPPDB imagery sources.

  • Bachelors of Science degree in GIS, Remote sensing, or related field.
